What's Happening this September?

Tonight is the first of many Community Dinners. Every Wednesday at 6pm we will be hosting whoever shows up for a meal. We hope to connect people, and make it easier on families to attend Wednesday night programs. We're calling free, but will be accepting donations to offset the cost of the meal. Tonight we’re having tacos!

Since you’re already coming to the dinner, why not stick around for our new midweek study: What about Prayer? We’ll be going through Skye Jethani’s book “What if Jesus was Serious about Prayer?” This study is intended to “take us deeper into what Jesus had to say about prayer and how it will change the way [we] relate to God forever.”

This coming Sunday is the first Sunday of the month so we will get to celebrate communion, of course you will not want to miss this. It is also our Missions Sunday for the Kids so they can learn about how God is active throughout the world.

Don’t forget to mark down September 19th as a DO NOT MISS Sunday. Cancel all other plans and make sure you’re

here. That is our annual picnic, though I have started to call it Homecoming. We want everyone who is a part of the church to be here that Sunday. So bring a dish to share, invite friends, and call people who haven't been in worship in a while. Let's get everyone together for a great day. On top of the picnic and everything else, we have rescheduled John Ashby's installation as youth pastor to this Sunday.

You don't want to miss it!
