Your weekly update

Hello Church! Did you know that tThursday, May 18 is a Holiday? The scriptures record that after the resurrection, Jesus continued to teach his disciples for 40 days. Then he ascended to the Father. Tomorrow marks 40 days after Easter and 10 days until Pentecost. If you have the time, be sure to read the Ascension passages tomorrow Luke 24:44-53, Acts 1:1-11, Ephesians 1:15-23, Matthew 28:17-20 Tonight's dinner is Tacos! We're going to eat starting at 5:30 and then we have classes for all ages starting at 6:30. This Sunday board meeting is at 4pm. Then at 5pm we will have a town hall to talk about the big project. I wanted to give you a few dates for this summer as well. July 15 we have NMI convention at Indian Lake. July 16th is ordination service AND John Ashby will be awarded his first District License. July 17 is district Assembly at Indian Lake. July 18-22 is Family Camp. National Night Out is August 1. This is an event we do in conjunction with Grace Christian University. It is a great way to meet the Church's neighbors and to have fun together. VBS is August 7-11 from 6:30-8:30. The theme this year is Twists and Turns- to see the promo video- click here.
