The First day of December

December 1 already! The countdown to Christmas moves in earnest now. We have already celebrated the 1st Sunday in Advent and we look forward to the 2nd Sunday this week. Before Sunday, however, we do have the Singles and Primetime Christmas Dinner at Noon on Saturday at the church. Bring a dish to share as we have a surprise guest and a few fun things in store for the dinner. There is NO Community Dinner Tonight. I spoke with the board members and for a number of reasons (busy season, volunteers out of town, covid) We have decided, reluctantly, to postpone these dinners. They will be back, hopefully sooner rather than later. We'll let you know as soon as they start again. Next Wednesday we begin a new series on the Articles of Faith. We will begin by discussing Article 1 which is on God. Over the next few Wednesdays we will engage deep questions like: "How can we know if God exists?" "What does it mean to call God creator? What about Evolution?" "What about the Trinity?" This series should teach us to go deeper, reassure us of the truth of our faith, and enable us to better articulate what it is we believe. I am looking forward to these lessons together. Best! Pastor Ryan
