Covid-19 Update

Dear Church Family, This week we discovered that three people from our church have been confirmed positive for Corona Virus. This is sad news for us. At the moment one is hospitalized, and two are at home. All three were present at the Funeral on Oct. 25. Some had symptoms for Covid prior to last Sunday, but they were unable to get tests or results until Monday. This means there is a chance that the virus got spread at the funeral. At this point we do not know if it spread there or not. I'm recommending that all who were at the funeral try to get tested. If it is not too intrusive, we would ask that you let Michelle or Pastor Ryan know about any positive cases that way we can trace and know how best to proceed. At the moment, we are moving the midweek Bible study to Zoom for the adults. You can find the link for this study at the bottom. Also the Board and I decided that we are going digital this Sunday. This means NO IN PERSON WORSHIP! Know that this is not a decision we take lightly. We have loved being together, I know this. As a pastor, I really do not like preaching to an empty room. But this is one way we can love our neighbor. Later this week I will send out the links for the live-streamed service. For now, please pray that no one else has caught the virus. Pray for those who have it, that they would regain their strength. Pray for each other that we will remain faithful even when we are not together. But also know, this will not stop us from being God's people and sharing God's goodness. You are all in my prayers this week. Your brother in Christ, Pastor Ryan
