Invocation

Scripture: Psalm 148

1 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights!

2 Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his host!

3 Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars!

4 Praise him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens!

5 Let them praise the name of the Lord, for he commanded and they were created.

6 He established them forever and ever; he fixed their bounds, which cannot be passed.

7 Praise the Lord from the earth, you sea monsters and all deeps,

8 fire and hail, snow and frost, stormy wind fulfilling his command!

9 Mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars!

10 Wild animals and all cattle, creeping things and flying birds!

11 Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth!

12 Young men and women alike, old and young together!

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his glory is above earth and heaven.

14 He has raised up a horn for his people, praise for all his faithful, for the people of Israel who are close to him. Praise the Lord

“And Can it Be”

Hymn #225

And can it be that I should gain

An int’rest in the Savior’s blood?

Died He for me,

Who caused His pain?

For me who Him to death pursued?

Amazing love! How can it be

That Thou, my God,

shouldst die for me?

Amazing love! How can it be

That Thou, my God,

shouldst die for me?

He left His Father’s throne above,

So free, so infinite His grace!

Emptied Himself

Of all but love,

And bled for Adam’s

helpless race.

‘Tis mercy all,

immense and free,

For, O my God, it found out me!

‘Tis mercy all,

immense and free,

For, O my God, it found out me!

Long my imprisoned spirit lay,

Fast bound in sin and nature’s night.

Thine eye diffused

A quick’ning ray.

I woke; the dungeon

flamed with light!

My chains fell off; my heart was free.

I rose, went forth,

and followed Thee.

My chains fell off; my heart was free.

I rose, went forth,

and followed Thee.

No condemnation now I dread;

Jesus, and all in Him, is mine!

Alive in Him,

my living Head,

And clothed in righteousness divine,

Bold I approach the eternal throne

And claim the crown,

thro’ Christ, my own.

Bold I approach the eternal throne

And claim the crown,

thro’ Christ, my own.

“Freely, Freely”

Hymn #707

God forgave my sin in Jesus' name, I've been born again in Jesus' name, And in Jesus' name I come to you To share His love as He told me to. Chorus: He said, Freely, freely you have received; Freely, freely give. Go in my name and because you believe, Others will know that I live." All power is given in Jesus' name, In earth and heaven, in Jesus' name; And in Jesus' name I come to you To share His power as He told me to. Chorus

He said, Freely, freely you have received; Freely, freely give. Go in my name and because you believe, Others will know that I live."

“Your Love Compels me Lord”

Hymn #711

Your love compels me, Lord,

To give as You would give,

To speak as ou would speak,

To live as You would live.

Your love compels me, Lord,

To see as You would see,

To serve as You would serve,

To be what You would be.

Invitation, Confession, Pardon, Peace

Christ our Lord invites to his table all who love him, who earnestly repent of their sin and seek to live in peace with one another. Therefore, let us confess our sin before God and one another.

Merciful God, We confess that we have not loved you with our whole heart. We have failed to be an obedient church.

We have not done your will, we have broken your law,we have rebelled against your love, we have not loved our neighbors, and we have not heard the cry of the needy.

We have not done your will, we have broken your law,we have rebelled against your love, we have not loved our neighbors, and we have not heard the cry of the needy.

Hear the good news, Christ died for us while we were still sinners, which proves God’s love for us. In the name of Jesus Christ, You Are forgiven

In the name of Jesus Christ, You Are forgiven Glory to God, Amen.

Scripture: Act 11:1-18

1 Now the apostles and the believers who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also accepted the word of God.

2 So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him,

3 saying, "Why did you go to uncircumcised men and eat with them?"

4 Then Peter began to explain it to them, step by step, saying,

5 "I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision. There was something like a large sheet coming down from heaven, being lowered by its four corners; and it came close to me.

6 As I looked at it closely I saw four-footed animals, beasts of prey, reptiles, and birds of the air.

7 I also heard a voice saying to me, "Get up, Peter; kill and eat.'

8 But I replied, "By no means, Lord; for nothing profane or unclean has ever entered my mouth.'

9 But a second time the voice answered from heaven, "What God has made clean, you must not call profane.'

10 This happened three times; then everything was pulled up again to heaven.

11 At that very moment three men, sent to me from Caesarea, arrived at the house where we were.

12 The Spirit told me to go with them and not to make a distinction between them and us. These six brothers also accompanied me, and we entered the man's house.

13 He told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house and saying, "Send to Joppa and bring Simon, who is called Peter;

14 he will give you a message by which you and your entire household will be saved.'

15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them just as it had upon us at the beginning.

16 And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said, "John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.'

17 If then God gave them the same gift that he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could hinder God?"

18 When they heard this, they were silenced. And they praised God, saying, "Then God has given even to the Gentiles the repentance that leads to life."

Scripture: John 13:31-35

31 When he had gone out, Jesus said, "Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.

32 If God has been glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself and will glorify him at once.

33 Little children, I am with you only a little longer. You will look for me; and as I said to the Jews so now I say to you, "Where I am going, you cannot come.'

34 I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.

35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

“Days of Elijah”

These are the days of Elijah

Declaring the Word of the Lord.

And These are the days of Your Servant, Moses

Righteous being restored.

And Though these are days of great trials,

Of famine and darkness and sword,

Still We are voice in the desert, crying,

“Prepare ye the way of the Lord.”

Behold he comes, riding on the clouds,

Shining like the sun at the trumpet call.

So lift your voice, its the year of Jubilee,

And out of Zion’s hill, Salvation comes.

And these are days of Ezekiel,

The dry bond becoming as flesh.

And these are days of your servant, David,

Rebuilding a temple of praise.

And these are days of the harvest,

The fields are as white in the world.

And We are laborers in Your vineyard,

Declaring the word of the Lord.

There’s no God like Jehovah,

There’s no God like Jehovah,

There’s no God like Jehovah,

There’s no God like Jehovah.

Behold he comes, riding on the clouds,

Shining like the sun at the trumpet call.

So lift your voice, its the year of Jubilee,

And out of Zion’s hill, Salvation comes.

“I Will Follow Medley”

All your ways are good

All your ways are sure. I will trust in You alone.

Higher than my sight

High above my life. I will trust in You alone, in You alone.

Where You go, I’ll go.

Where You stay I’ll stay.

When You move, I’ll move. I will follow You.

Who You love, I’ll Love.

How you serve I’ll serve If this life I lose, I will follow You. I will follow You.

Light unto the world

Light unto my Life

I will live for you alone.

You’re the one I seek

Knowing I will find. All I need in You alone, in You alone.

Where You go, I’ll go.

Where You stay I’ll stay.

When You move, I’ll move. I will follow You.

Who You love, I’ll Love.

How you serve I’ll serve If this life I lose, I will follow You. I will follow You.

Scripture: Revelation 21:1-6

1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them;

4 he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away."

5 And the one who was seated on the throne said, "See, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true."

6 Then he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give water as a gift from the spring of the water of life

Message: Pastor Ryan

Communion

The Communion Supper, instituted by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is a sacrament, which proclaims His life, His sufferings, His sacrificial death and resurrection, and the hope of His coming again. It shows forth the Lord’s death until His return. The Supper is a means of grace in which Christ is present by the Spirit. It is to be received in reverent appreciation and gratefulness for the work of Christ. All those who are truly repentant, forsaking their sins, and believing in Christ for salvation are invited to participate in the death and resurrection of Christ. We come to the table that we may be renewed in life and salvation and be made one by the Spirit. In unity with the Church, we confess our faith:

Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.

Holy God, We gather at this, your table, in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, who by your Spirit was anointed to preach good news to the poor, proclaim release to the captives, set at liberty those who are oppressed. Christ healed the sick, fed the hungry, ate with sinners, and established the new covenant for forgiveness of sins. We live in the hope of His coming again. On the night in which He was betrayed, He took bread, gave thanks, broke the bread, gave it to His disciples, and said: “Take, eat; this is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. Likewise, when the supper was over, he took the cup, gave thanks, gave it to His disciples, and said: “Drink from this, all of you, this is my blood of the new covenant, poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in remembrance of me.” Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. And so, we gather as the Body of Christ to offer ourselves to you in praise and thanksgiving. Pour out your Holy Spirit on us and on these your gifts. Make them by the power of your Spirit to be for us the body and blood of Christ, that we may be for the world the Body of Christ, redeemed by His blood. By your Spirit make us one in Christ, one with each other, and one in the ministry of Christ to all the world, until Christ comes in final victory. In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Amen. And now, as our Savior Christ has taught us, let us pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen
