Invocation

Scripture: Psalm 148

1 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights!

2 Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his host!

3 Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars!

4 Praise him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens!

5 Let them praise the name of the Lord, for he commanded and they were created.

6 He established them forever and ever; he fixed their bounds, which cannot be passed.

7 Praise the Lord from the earth, you sea monsters and all deeps,

8 fire and hail, snow and frost, stormy wind fulfilling his command!

9 Mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars!

10 Wild animals and all cattle, creeping things and flying birds!

11 Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth!

12 Young men and women alike, old and young together!

13 Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his glory is above earth and heaven.

14 He has raised up a horn for his people, praise for all his faithful, for the people of Israel who are close to him. Praise the Lord!

“All Hail King Jesus”

Hymn #123

All hail King Jesus.

All hail Emmanuel,

King of Kings, Lord of Lords,

Bright Morning Star.

And thro’-out eternity,

I’ll sing His praises,

And I’ll reign with Him

thro’out eternity.

“It’s Just Like His Great Love”

Hymn #393

A Friend I have, called Jesus,

Whose love is strong and true

And never fails, howe’er ‘tis tried-

No matter what I do.

I’ve sinned against this love of His;

But when I knelt to pray,

Confessing all my guilt to Him,

The sin-clouds rolled away.

It’s just like Jesus

to roll the clouds away.

It’s just like Jesus

to keep me day by day.

It’s just like Jesus

all along the way.

It’s just like His great love.

Sometimes the clouds of trouble

Be-dim the sky above.

I cannot see my Savior’s face;

I doubt His wondrous love.

But He, from heaven’s mercy seat,

Beholding my despair,

In pity bursts the clouds between

And shows me He is there.

It’s just like Jesus

to roll the clouds away.

It’s just like Jesus

to keep me day by day.

It’s just like Jesus

all along the way.

It’s just like His great love.

When sorrow’s clouds o’er take me

And break upon my head,

When life seems worse than useless

And earthly hopes are dead,

I take my grief to Jesus then;

Nor do I go in vain,

For heav’nly hope He gives that cheers

Like sunshine after rain.

It’s just like Jesus

to roll the clouds away.

It’s just like Jesus

to keep me day by day.

It’s just like Jesus

all along the way.

It’s just like His great love.

O I could sing forever

Of Jesus’ love divine-

Of all His care and tenderness

For this poor life of mine.

His love is in and over all,

And wind and waves obey

When Jesus whispers, “Peace, be still!”

And rolls the clouds away.

 It’s just like Jesus

to roll the clouds away.

It’s just like Jesus

to keep me day by day.

It’s just like Jesus

all along the way.

It’s just like His great love.

Scripture: Revelation 21:1-6

1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them;

4 he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away."

5 And the one who was seated on the throne said, "See, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true."

6 Then he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give water as a gift from the spring of the water of life.

Welcome New Members

Invitation

 Confession

Pardon

Peace

Christ our Lord invites to his table all who love him,

who earnestly repent of their sin   and seek to live in peace with one another. Therefore, let us confess our sin before God and one another.

Merciful God, We confess that we have not loved you with our whole heart. We have failed to be an obedient church.

We have not done your will, we have broken your law,

we have rebelled against your love, we have not loved our neighbors, and we have not heard the cry of the needy.

Hear the good news,

Christ died for us while we were still sinners,

which proves God’s love for us. In the name of Jesus Christ, You Are forgiven

In the name of Jesus Christ, You Are forgiven

Glory to God, Amen.

Joys & Concerns

(Please keep it to 1 sentence)

Scripture: John 13:31-35

31 When he had gone out, Jesus said, "Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.

32 If God has been glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself and will glorify him at once.

33 Little children, I am with you only a little longer. You will look for me; and as I said to the Jews so now I say to you, "Where I am going, you cannot come.'

34 I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.

35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

“Firm Foundation”

[Chorus]

When everything around me is shaking

I've never been more glad

That I put my faith in Jesus'

Cause He's never let me down

He's faithful through generations

So why would He fail now?

He won't

He won't

[Verse]

I've still got joy in chaos

So I won't be going under

I'm not held by my own strength

'Cause I build my life on Jesus

He's never let me down

He's faithful in еvery season

So why would He fail now?

[Chorus]

When everything around me is shaking

I've never been more glad

That I put my faith in Jesus

'Cause He's never let me down

He's faithful through generations

So why would He fail now?

He won't He won't

He won't fail

He won't fail, no, no

[Bridge]

Yeah, I'm gonna make it through

'Cause I'm standing strong on You

Yeah, I'm gonna make it through

'Cause my house is built on You

[Chorus]

When everything around me is shaking

I've never been more glad

That I put my faith in Jesus

'Cause He's never let me down

“Known and Loved”

We've been hiding,

in the shadows

Lost and afraid of you

We've been wandering,

in the darkness

But if we only knew

We are known and loved

Known and loved

We are known and loved by you

You've been waiting,

to show us mercy

Your presence is our home

We're your children,

loved forever

Now every fear is gone

We are known and loved

Known and loved

We are known and loved by you

Scripture: Acts 9:1-20

1 Meanwhile Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest

2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any who belonged to the Way, men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

3 Now as he was going along and approaching Damascus, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?"

5 He asked, "Who are you, Lord?" The reply came, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

6 But get up and enter the city, and you will be told what you are to do."

7 The men who were traveling with him stood speechless because they heard the voice but saw no one.

8 Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing; so they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus.

9 For three days he was without sight, and neither ate nor drank.

10 Now there was a disciple in Damascus named Ananias. The Lord said to him in a vision, "Ananias." He answered, "Here I am, Lord."

11 The Lord said to him, "Get up and go to the street called Straight, and at the house of Judas look for a man of Tarsus named Saul. At this moment he is praying,

12 and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias come in and lay his hands on him so that he might regain his sight."

13 But Ananias answered, "Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints in Jerusalem;

14 and here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who invoke your name."

15 But the Lord said to him, "Go, for he is an instrument whom I have chosen to bring my name before Gentiles and kings and before the people of Israel;

16 I myself will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name."

17 So Ananias went and entered the house. He laid his hands on Saul and said, "Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on your way here, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit."

18 And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and his sight was restored. Then he got up and was baptized,

19 and after taking some food, he regained his strength. For several days he was with the disciples in Damascus,

20 and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, saying, "He is the Son of God."

“Proclaiming the Good News part 2”

Communion

The Communion Supper, instituted by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is a sacrament, which proclaims His life, His sufferings, His sacrificial death and resurrection, and the hope of His coming again. Brothers and sisters in Christ, the Christian life is redeemed from sin and consecrated to God.The Supper is a means of grace in which Christ is present

by the Spirit.

It is to be received in reverent appreciation and gratefulness for the work of Christ. All those who are truly repentant, forsaking their sins, and believing in Christ for salvation are invited to participate in the death and resurrection of Christ. We come to the table that we may be renewed in life and salvation and be made one by the Spirit.

In unity with the Church, we confess our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.

Holy God, We gather at this, your table, in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, who by your Spirit was anointed to preach good news to the poor, proclaim release to the captives, set at liberty those who are oppressed.

2-17 Christ healed the sick, fed the hungry, ate with sinners, and established the new covenant for forgiveness of sins. We live in the hope of His coming again.

On the night in which He was betrayed, He took bread, gave thanks, broke the bread, gave it to His disciples, and said: “Take, eat; this is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.

Likewise, when the supper was over, he took the cup, gave thanks, gave it to His disciples, and said: “Drink from this, all of you, this is my blood of the new covenant, poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in remembrance of me.” Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

And so, we gather as the Body of Christ to offer ourselves to you in praise and thanksgiving. Pour out your Holy Spirit on us and on these your gifts. Make them by the power of your Spirit to be for us the body and blood of Christ, that we may be for the world the Body of Christ, redeemed by His blood.

By your Spirit make us one in Christ, one with each other, and one in the ministry of Christ to all the world, until Christ comes in final victory. In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Amen. And now, as our Savior Christ has taught us, let us pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen

Benediction
