On Sunday I spoke about how we are in a struggle with the powers and principalities. We are members of Christ's body and we are on a mission to proclaim in word and deed the good news of the Kingdom of God. This means that we do not need to fear the powers and principalities, but we can resist and tear them down. Some suggested that I had not yet answered the practical question: "How do we do that?" Don't worry, we will be discussing that in future weeks. But also, as I said three Sundays ago, figuring out the How is for all of us. We are in this together. Perhaps the Holy Spirit has revealed a method to you. We know that all of us can hear from him. So lets see how to do this well together. Thats part of why we gather for discipleship. We need to be formed like Christ, and 1 Cor 12 says we do that through the renewing of our mind. So tomorrow night we have Community Dinner: SOUP We're doing a bit of a potluck for community dinner.
