The summer has become quite full again! This email will likely be overwhelming, because not every event applies to every person, BUT you probably want to be informed about the many events this summer and into early fall. Community Dinner is back again tonight at 5:30. We're cleaning out the freezer, so we will have chicken and rice, mac and cheese, chicken tacos, peas, corn, green beans. It will feel like a potluck! Bible Study starts at 6:30. July 9th - This Sunday is round two of the Naz Safe training after the service. Please RSVP to Chrissy if you plan on being there. July 9th- Board Meeting Then at 4:00pm we have a board meeting.
July 11 Singles and Prime Time have their monthly lunch at Russ's 12:00 pm at the Russ's on 28th Street. July 12th- Community Dinner Menu- Mac and Cheese Bar The fan-favorite Mac ‘n Cheese bar is back for community dinner! We’ll have a variety of meats, veggies, and other toppings to mix into your mac ‘n cheese. You won’t want to miss this delicious night!
July 15th - Teen Group Pancake Breakfast- The Teens are hosting a Pancake Breakfast so get ready to eat and fellowship with your church community.
July 15th NMI Convention If you would like to hear how the Church of the Nazarene is making a global impact, you won't want to miss this day.
July 16th- John Ashby will be recognized for receiving his district license. This will be a step towards his ordination. The service starts at 6:00 PM at Indian Lake Nazarene Campgrounds.
July 19th Spaghetti Dinner - The teens are hosting Spaghetti Dinner again. The meal is from 5:30-6:30
July 20th-23rd Teens are going camping at Indian Lake as a part of Family Camp. July 22- The Women's Ministry is headed to Grand Haven for a ladies night with shopping and the Musical Fountain. July 26th NO WEDNESDAY NIGHT
July 27th Whitecaps Baseball Game- In years past we've taken a night to head to the Whitecaps Baseball Game. We're looking at getting group tickets for the whole church to head to a game. tickets are $14. There will be a sign up sheet in the foyer. August 1- National Night Out- This is an annual event we host in conjunction with the Wyoming Police Department and Grace Christian University. It is designed to foster community and build relationships between the PD, community members, and the City Government. We could use a few volunteers to help set up, but I won't be getting that information until July 18th. August 7-11 Vacation Bible Party - We've got a great week for the kids to learn about God's love. Invite your friends and neighbors to an excellent week. August 7-11 Youth Week! Each year during VBP our teen group has a week of learning about Jesus and goofing around. Invite any teens you know for a fun filled week.
August 26th The Children are having a back to school bash
September 17th- Homecoming! In the past we've hosted an annual picnic this year we're making it even bigger. Make sure to mark you calendars and invite your friends and family. We're inviting anyone who has been a part of Clyde Park to come home for one Sunday. We hope to pack the sanctuary, share a meal, and celebrate God's faithfulness. If there has ever been a Sunday to be here, this is the day!
September 17th- At 6:00 pm we're hosting a Free Indeed Concert.
