A Note from Pastor Ryan

"After he had dismissed the crowds, he went up the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone"- This comes from Matthew 14 which we will be reading on Sunday.

The passage is about walking on water, however it begins with Jesus spending time alone with the Father. I know that the walking on water is impressive, truly it is. BUt I think we ought to remember that is only possible because Jesus and the Father were united. Jesus spent time in prayer alone regularly.

I think we would do well to imitate Jesus and spend time alone with the Lord. If you haven't taken time recently to intentionally be alone with the Lord, do so today or tomorrow. God wants to talk with you, go be present with the one who has created you.
