Special Dinner Tonight

As I stood up from the altar last Sunday I was overwhelmed by the number of people down there with me. As I said on Sunday, we have incredible opportunities to serve King Jesus. This coming Sunday we will continue to explore what it means to offer our bodies (plural) as a living sacrifice (singular). Please read and meditate on Romans 12:9-21. See what the Holy Spirit is telling you to do about those words. How do we put them in action together? Below are some upcoming events. Tonight's Community Dinner is... I actually don't know yet. Mirna Lopez is making something special for her son, Diego's, birthday. What I do know is when she does cook, its AMAZING!

September 6- Community Dinner- Red Beans and Rice September 10 Board Meeting September 13 Community Dinner- Coney Dogs

September 16th -Hymn Sing and Ice Cream 7:00 PM We'll be singing some of our favorite songs while eating the best dessert ever, ice cream! Perhaps we should call it the Scream and Sing- since you scream and I scream for ice cream!


September 17th- Homecoming! In the past we've hosted an annual picnic this year we're making it even bigger. Make sure to mark you calendars and invite your friends and family. We're inviting anyone who has been a part of Clyde Park to come home for one Sunday. We hope to pack the sanctuary, share a meal, and celebrate God's faithfulness. If there has ever been a Sunday to be here, this is the day!

September 17th- At 6:00 pm we're hosting a Free Indeed Concert. A few key fall dates! Oct. 7th - Trick or Treat Trail at Lamar Park Oct 14 Teen Pancake Breakfast Oct. 21 Game Night Oct. 31- Fall Festival.
