There is an outside chance that the internet breaks today. Thousands of churches are streaming for the first time today. In case that happens, here is the order of worship for today. you can read the scriptures and sing with the songs. Each song is a link to a youtube video. (I tried to find decent versions of the hymns... but there is a difference between "good' and "best I could find") Know that we are praying for each other today. Psalm 131 Lord, my heart isn’t proud; my eyes aren’t conceited. I don’t get involved with things too great or wonderful for me. 2 No. But I have calmed and quieted myself[a] like a weaned child on its mother; I’m like the weaned child that is with me.
3 Israel, wait for the Lord— from now until forever from now! Hymn #570
Upon life’s boundless ocean Where mighty billows roll, I’ve fixed my hope in Jesus, Blest anchor of my soul; When trials fierce assail me As storms are gathering o’er, I rest upon His mercy And trust Him more.
Refrain
I’ve anchored in Jesus, The storms of life I’ll brave, I’ve anchored in Jesus, I fear no wind or wave. I’ve anchored in Jesus, For He hath power to save, I’ve anchored to the Rock of Ages.
He keeps my soul from evil And gives me blessèd peace, His voice hath stilled the waters And bid their tumult cease; My pilot and Deliverer, To Him I all confide, For always when I need Him, He’s at my side.
Refrain
He is my friend and Savior, In Him my anchor’s cast, He drives away my sorrows And shields me from the blast; By faith I’m looking upward Beyond life’s troubled sea, There I behold a haven Prepared for me.
Refrain His Grace is Sufficient for Me
Many times I’m tried and tested As I travel day by day. ‘Oft I meet with pain and sorrow And there’s trouble in the way. But I have a sweet assurance That my soul, the Lord will lead. And in Him there is strength for every need.
Oh, His grace is sufficient for me. And His love is abundant and free. And what joy fills my soul, Just to know, just to know That His grace is sufficient for me.
When the tempter brings confusion And I don’t know what to do, On my knees I turn to Jesus For He’ll always see me through. Then despair is changed to victory. Every doubt just melts away And in Him there is hope for everyday.
Oh, His grace is sufficient for me. And His love is abundant and free. And what joy fills my soul, Just to know, just to know That His grace is sufficient for me.
Hymn# 578
1 Savior, like a shepherd lead us,
Much we need Thy tender care;
In Thy pleasant pastures feed us,
For our use Thy folds prepare:
Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,
Thou hast bought us, Thine we are;
Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,
Thou hast bought us, Thine we are.
2 We are Thine, do Thou befriend us,
Be the guardian of our way;
Keep Thy flock, from sin defend us,
Seek us when we go astray:
Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,
Hear, O hear us when we pray;
Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus,
Hear, O hear us when we pray.
4 Early let us seek Thy favor, Early let us do Thy will; Blessed Lord and only Savior, With Thy love our bosoms fill: Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus, Thou hast loved us, love us still; Blessèd Jesus, blessèd Jesus, Thou hast loved us, love us still. Offertory "Reason to Sing" by All Sons and Daughters Isaiah 49:8-16 Zion’s Children to Be Brought Home
8 Thus says the Lord:
In a time of favor I have answered you,
on a day of salvation I have helped you;
I have kept you and given you
as a covenant to the people,[a]
to establish the land,
to apportion the desolate heritages;
9 saying to the prisoners, “Come out,”
to those who are in darkness, “Show yourselves.”
They shall feed along the ways,
on all the bare heights[b] shall be their pasture;
10 they shall not hunger or thirst,
neither scorching wind nor sun shall strike them down,
for he who has pity on them will lead them,
and by springs of water will guide them.
11 And I will turn all my mountains into a road,
and my highways shall be raised up.
12 Lo, these shall come from far away,
and lo, these from the north and from the west,
and these from the land of Syene.[c]
13 Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth;
break forth, O mountains, into singing!
For the Lord has comforted his people,
and will have compassion on his suffering ones.
14 But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me,
my Lord has forgotten me.”
15 Can a woman forget her nursing child,
or show no compassion for the child of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me. Trust in You (Lauren Daigle) Letting go of every single dream I lay each one down at Your feet
Every moment of my wandering Never changes what You see
I try to win this war I confess, my hands are weary, I need Your rest
Mighty warrior, king of the fight
No matter what I face You're by my side
When You don't move the mountains
I'm needing You to move
When You don't part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When You don't give the answers
As I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust,
I will trust in You
Truth is, You know what tomorrow brings
There's not a day ahead You have not seen
So let all things be my life and breath
I want what You want Lord and nothing less
When You don't move the mountains
I'm needing You to move
When You don't part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When You don't give the answers
As I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You
I will trust in You
You are my strength and comfort
You are my steady hand
You are my firm foudation
The rock on which I stand
Your ways are always higher
Your plans are always good
There's not a place where I'll go
You've not already stood
When You don't move the mountains
I'm needing You to move
When You don't part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When You don't give the answers
As I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You
What a fellowship, what a joy divine, Leaning on the Everlasting Arms! What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the Everlasting Arms! Leaning, leaning, Safe and secure from all alarms; Leaning, leaning, Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.
2 O how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way, Leaning on the Everlasting Arms! O how bright the path grows from day to day, Leaning on the Everlasting Arms!
3What have I to dread, what have I to fear, Leaning on the Everlasting Arms! I have peace complete with my Lord so near, Leaning on the Everlasting Arms! Matthew 6:25-34 (CEB) 25 “Therefore, I say to you, don’t worry about your life, what you’ll eat or what you’ll drink, or about your body, what you’ll wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds in the sky. They don’t sow seed or harvest grain or gather crops into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth much more than they are? 27 Who among you by worrying can add a single moment to your life? 28 And why do you worry about clothes? Notice how the lilies in the field grow. They don’t wear themselves out with work, and they don’t spin cloth. 29 But I say to you that even Solomon in all of his splendor wasn’t dressed like one of these. 30 If God dresses grass in the field so beautifully, even though it’s alive today and tomorrow it’s thrown into the furnace, won’t God do much more for you, you people of weak faith? 31 Therefore, don’t worry and say, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ 32 Gentiles long for all these things. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 Instead, desire first and foremost God’s kingdom and God’s righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore, stop worrying about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
