It Starts Tonight

December is here and we have some exciting things happening in the life of the church. Wednesday Nights in December Just a reminder that there is NO Community Dinner in December. Tonight we start week 1 of "The Articles of Faith." While the title may seem boring to some, we're going to get to engage a wide range of interesting topics. Perhaps not all of them will interest you, but they will intersect. I highly recommend engaging every Wednesday, but there may be some nights of particular interest to you. We are beginning with the Doctrine of God, specifically, is it reasonable to believe in God? What are the arguments for God's existence? What is necessary to believe? Next week Dec. 15 we will begin talking about the Divine Attributes. What is God like? Dec. 22 instead of having a study, we're joining the teens and going Caroling! Dec. 29 No Wednesday Night services for adults. Teens- TBD Food Pantry The food pantry will happen on Monday December 20th. If you are interested in volunteering for this please contact Emmy Quanstrom. Christmas Eve

This year Christmas Eve is on a Friday night! Because we have a group which rents the Sanctuary every Friday night, we will be doing Christmas Eve in the Gym. In the past Emmy and I have invited everyone to a time of fellowship at the parsonage afterward. This year, however, we decided to simply keep things at the church. We will have a time for scripture and carols followed by fellowship. please bring any Christmas goodies you might want to share.
