Happy Thanksgiving

Giving thanks is an excellent Christian practice. It helps us to grow in joy and love of others. We hope you are able to give thanks with great intentionality this busy week. We wanted to remind everyone of our modified schedule this week, TONIGHT We have our annual Hanging of the Greens at 6pm. We'll be decorating the church for the advent season in preparation for Christmas. We'll have Christmas carols going as we anticipate Jesus' birth. Wednesday Night services are CANCELLED. This means no community dinner and no adult prayer time. Saturday from 9-11 AM the Teens are hosting a pancake breakfast! This Sunday we will be participating in the Church of the Nazarene's global Thanksgiving Offering. The Church of the Nazarene's Thanksgiving Offering for the World Evangelism Fund has been a denominational tradition for more than 80 years.

As it did in its beginning, the offering continues to raise support and awareness for missionary causes through the World Evangelism Fund. Created in 1923, the WEF (formerly called the General Fund) provides essential resources for the denomination's churches and missional outposts in more than 159 world areas, and allows individuals and organizations to continue our shared mission “To make Christlike disciples in the nations.”
