Happy New Year! The new year is always a great time to be remined of the new life we have in Christ. We serve the God of 2nd chances. And for some of us, God is the God of 72nd chances... or perhaps the 70x7. Perhaps the world recognizing the new year is a good time for us to embrace new chances too. God gives us extra chances, why don't we give others another chance? Why don't we give ourselves another chance? Why don't we give the means of grace another chance?

I recommend that we begin 2026 by asking God to reveal God's grace in a fresh way. Perhaps you have become unreliable in pyour prayer time. Start back up praying. Maybe you realize you need to study the Bible more through Wedneday night or Sunday School. Maybe you resolve to be faithful in giving, or in regular attendance. I am going to do something I haven't done in years, I'm going to read the entire Bible this year. It sounds more daunting than it actually is! If you would like to join me, I will add the reading plan at the bottom (or you can click this link). Tonight the Kids Club has a NYE Party! NO ADULTS OR TEENS! NO COMMUNITY DINNER EITHER! (Next week we're doing a Pork tenderloin dinner) This coming Sunday we will be celebrating Epiphany!

You know you don't want to skip the first Sunday of 2026! Join us as we celebrate the arrival of the Wise Men from the East who bring gifts to Jesus. Next Sunday we will remember our baptism and practice the Covenant Renewal Service again! Looking forward to an excellent 2026 with Clyde Park Church of the Nazarene!
