Invocation
Scripture: Psalm 121
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills— from where will my help come?
2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.
4 He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.
8 The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore.
“Sanctuary”
Master Chorus Book II #86
Lord, prepare me
to be a sanctuary,
pure and holy, tried and true;
With thanksgiving, I’ll be a living
Sanctuary for
sanctuary for You.
“Shine, Jesus Shine”
Master Chorus Book II #85
Lord, the light of Your love is shining,
In the midst of the darkness shining;
Jesus, light of the world,
shine upon us,
Set us free by the truth
You now bring us;
Shine on me.
Shine on me.
Shine, Jesus, shine,
fill this land with the Father’s glory;
Blaze, spirit, blaze,
set our hearts on fire.
Flow, river, flow,
Flood the nations
with grace and mercy;
Send forth Your Word, Lord,
and let there be light.
Lord, I come to
Your awesome presence,
From the shadows
into Your radiance;
By the blood I may enter
Your brightness;
Search me, try me,
Consume all my darkness;
Shine on me.
Shine on me.
Shine, Jesus, shine,
fill this land with the Father’s glory;
Blaze, spirit, blaze,
set our hearts on fire.
Flow, river, flow,
Flood the nations
with grace and mercy;
Send forth Your Word, Lord,
and let there be light.
As we gaze on
Your kingly brightness,
So our faces display
Your likeness,
Ever changing from glory to glory;
Mirrored here,
May our lives tell Your story;
Shine on me.
Shine on me.
Shine, Jesus, shine,
fill this land with the Father’s glory;
Blaze, spirit, blaze,
set our hearts on fire.
Flow, river, flow,
Flood the nations
with grace and mercy;
Send forth Your Word, Lord,
and let there be light.
“Spirit of the Living God”
Hymn #297
Spirit of the living God,
fall fresh on me.
Spirit of the living God,
fall fresh on me.
Melt me, mold me, fill me, use me.
Spirit of the living God,
fall fresh on me.
“Spring up O Well”
I’ve got a river of life flowing out of me;
Makes the lame to walk and the blind to see.
Opens prison doors, sets the captives free.
I’ve got a river of life flowing out of me.
Spring up, O well, within my soul’
Spring up, O well, and make me whole;
Spring up, O well, and give to me
That life abundantly.
Scripture: Jeremiah 31:27-34
27 The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of humans and the seed of animals.
28 And just as I have watched over them to pluck up and break down, to overthrow, destroy, and bring evil, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, says the Lord.
29 In those days they shall no longer say: "The parents have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge."
30 But all shall die for their own sins; the teeth of everyone who eats sour grapes shall be set on edge.
31 The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.
32 It will not be like the covenant that I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt—a covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, says the Lord.
33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each other, "Know the Lord," for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord; for I will forgive their iniquity, and remember their sin no more.

Pastoral Prayer-Joys & Concerns
Scripture: Luke 18:1-8
1 Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray always and not to lose heart.
2 He said, "In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor had respect for people.
3 In that city there was a widow who kept coming to him and saying, "Grant me justice against my opponent.'
4 For a while he refused; but later he said to himself, "Though I have no fear of God and no respect for anyone,
5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will grant her justice, so that she may not wear me out by continually coming.' "
6 And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says.
7 And will not God grant justice to his chosen ones who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long in helping them?
8 I tell you, he will quickly grant justice to them. And yet, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?"

“Your Labor is not in Vain”
[Verse 1] Your labor is not in vain Though the ground underneath you is cursed and stained Your planting and reaping are never the same Your labor is not in vain [Verse 2] Your labor is not unknown Though the rocks they cry out and the sea it may groan The place of your toil may not seem like a home But Your labor is not unknown
[Chorus] I am with you, I am with you I am with you, I am with you For I have called you, called you by name Your labor is not in vain [Verse 3] The vineyards you plant will bear fruit The fields will sing out and rejoice with the truth For all that is old will at last be made new The vineyards you plant will bear fruit [Chorus] I am with you, I am with you I am with you, I am with you For I have called you, called you by name Your labor is not in vain [Verse 4] The houses you labored to build Will finally with laughter and joy be filled The serpent that hurts and destroys will be killed And all that is broken be healed [Chorus] I am with you, I am with you I am with you, I am with you For I have called you, called you by name Your labor is not in vain I am with you, oh I am with you Oh I am with you, oh I am with you For I have called you, called you by name Your labor is not in vain
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:14-4:5
3:14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it,
15 and how from childhood you have known the sacred writings that are able to instruct you for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
17 so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.
4:1 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I solemnly urge you:
2 proclaim the message; be persistent whether the time is favorable or unfavorable; convince, rebuke, and encourage, with the utmost patience in teaching.
3 For the time is coming when people will not put up with sound doctrine, but having itching ears, they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own desires,
4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander away to myths.
5 As for you, always be sober, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, carry out your ministry fully.
